We are a growing and building community thriving to learn and teach others how to sustainably, and naturally care for and raise Michigan hardy honey bees. 

Through catching swarms either in the field or removing them from other peoples property, we create an environment and breeding of bees that have over wintered and thrived in Michigan. This insures them to be cold hardy, dieses hardy, and within our queens breeding insures great Michigan Bee genetics.

Why is this important over buying bees from Georgia, or other places. Biology 101 teaches us not to take a snake from the field and put it in the river, because it changes the eco system, so for bees coming from a warmer climate in our case, is not conducive to the health of the honey bee to thrive here in Michigan's colder climate.
